New carbon fiber native/pm2?

I was browsing some online knife dealers sites and came across an ad for a carbon fiber S110V native expected to arrive late this fall. Is this info and approximate arrival date accurate? No pic either, what is the carbon fiber pattern expected to look like? Didn't find anything on spyderco's site to back it up? Then I heard rumor of a similar new sprint run PM2 in the works? These 2 models are my favorite spydercos. I own a Native 5
S35vn and the standard PM2, the Para rides in my hip pocket daily. Anybody out there with some info on if or when these knives are expected to hit the market?

Hmmm, that's very interesting. I am eager to hear more if anybody has any info???

There's no official release date for any of it, but the CF S110V Native will happen, people have handled the fluted cf para2 at blade and other shows.

If the release dates are close it will be one or the other for me not both, unfortunately. Same steel, same handle material, same availability, have to go with the PM2

I remember reading somewhere sal said they are struggling to meet demands in the golden facility, and release dates are being pushed back. If I remember right, it was a thread on the cruwear military, because that was supposed to be out like 2 months ago.

I handled the fluted CF Para2 at the Blade Show. Eric said that the scales were going to be thinned down a bit from those at the show, which would make them extremely comfortable in hand. The fluting is very subtle and accentuates the pattern in the CF. Drop dead gorgeous - it will probably be the most sought-after Para2 ever.

Whats tha blade steel going to be?

Not really stoked about the carbon fiber native 5. They use a carbon fiber laminate. It's not true carbon fiber thru and thru. I'd rather my Native g10 and ill make real carbon fiber handle. I'm making Kevlar thunderstorm handles for mine and I'm excited for it.
I'm more excited for the Domino and blue g10 lava

How come you're the only one that knows exactly what cf Spyderco is using on the next Native cf? I would be surprised if they wouldn't use peel ply cf again. They never used a cf laminate on US-made Spydercos.

That was my impression also.

I didn't know that the Colorado made knives used full real carbon fiber and that the other factory made knives used carbon fiber laminate.
Why is that?
The new domino is a beautiful knife with titanium frame lock & liner with ball bearings, why would they skimp out and go with the carbon fiber laminate that they are using on it?
I ordered a few of them because I didn't care that it was a laminate because I was going to put my own scales on it anyway...that's why Im not stocked about the native cf...I have the g10 5 and I put my own scales on it.

The new Domino does not use carbon fiber anything... All previous models from golden are peel ply cf.

I stand corrected, the prototype that ran around everywhere was considered just a glass fiber weave. Going off memory when Wouter put the video up of Eric describing it.

Could be cost but more likely it's availability. Perhaps the laminate is what's available locally in Taiwan. Personally it doesn't bother me.

CF Native5, which should be out will have S110V blade. Later, nobody knows when, CF Fluted Native and Para2 will come out. I am not sure if the blade steel determined.

Looking forward to the Native 5 Carbon Fiber (C41CFP5).

I'm surprised it'll weigh more (4.5 ounces per BladeHQ) than my Native 5 Fluted Titanium (C41TIFP5) which comes in at 4.2 ounces!

Fluted CF Para 2 at Blade was amazing!
I actually really liked the thicker handles.
