New CAS Frame-Handle Bowie and Image

Hello!

I want to share a wonderful large Frame-Handle Bowie by Claudio and Ariel Sobral (CAS) with you.

The blade is about 10.4 long and uses 1070 and 1010 for the damascus sides and 1095 for the hair popping edge. Overall lenght is around 15.3.

The handle is made of 420 and creamy ebony. The whole package is completed by a great black leather sheath with damascus stud:

Once again, I am amazed by the quality and versatility of the CAS brothers - thank you guys for another great piece!

can't remember ever seeing a CAS knife that I did not like.
The dark look of this one is pretty sweet!

Wow, that is one of may all time favorite CAS blades. I would love to add something like that to my CAS collection.
