This nifty, little, Case Barlow arrived in the mail today. It was made in 2009 and is really a nice knife. The fit and finish is very good. After I checked it over, I dropped it in my pocket where it will reside, at least for awhile. Afterall, Case made it to be used and use it I will.

I've always liked the Barlow knives. Very handy and they fit in the pocket nicely.

Barlow's always feel like they want to be used. That's a nice one there! I'm still breaking in my Bear & Son barlow I picked up a few weeks ago.

If they had made that with a spear point I would of had to have one...lol. Congrats and enjoy!

That just goes to show the diversity in likes and dislikes on the forum. You evidently prefer a spear point on a Barlow while I prefer a clip point on a Barlow. I've passed on many a Barlow because they didn't have a clip point. As to blades, I prefer two but one blade is ok too. As I understand it, the original/early Barlows had only one blade.

Great looking knife ED....that looks like a hard working knife....MUST be carried and used.

Have you seen the Case Forum knife for '10....smooth chestnut handles. Less than 200 of them being made.

Check out the Dan Burke Queen colab 3 1/2" with a spear main and wharnie second blade in an burnt orange bone and all in D2.

It is very special
