Well a friend of mine happened to have this Case lying around, so he offered it to me for a decent price & I nabbed it. It came in today & I'm pleased.
This is an '04 Seahorse Whittler wharncliffe in orange G-10 (SS blades, but oh well). It's just under 4", but slender, so it carries well. The main blade's shorter than I thought at 2 3/8" (2 1/8" edge). i really thought the blade would be closer to 3" or more in a 4" handle. However, I like the "stoutness" of the main blade & the fact that it's a wharncliffe.
It's pictured next to my Daughter's '07 Tiny Trapper in orange G-10. We went to Bass Pro Shops to meet some friends & she HAD to have it, lol.
BTW, regarding F&F, it's outstanding in both of these Cases & no blade play at all. Overall I'm pretty impressed with both of these & the spring tension on the Whittler is just right. It's actually a bit nicer than my Canal St. Cannitler.
