I'm an old man and have a lot of knives but not many traditional folders. I've ordered very few case folders that don't have issues. At any rate I got this today and am stoked. I did pay a bunch for it but I can't find a single flaw. I did call the company before I ordered it and asked it he had several of them. He did and I asked him if he would find me one that the blade was centered, that had no side to side play in the blade, that the blade was ground symmetrically and sharp and that when you closed the blade it wouldn't hit the back spring and leave a dull spot on the blade. He kept me on hold for a little while and came back said he had one that he thought was right. So I said thats the one I want. I had ordered one of the case bose Wilfred lockbacks a while back and even it has minor issues but I still like it and it was also expensive. So I am very happy with this one and thought I would share.

Love it when the dealer will pick a winner. Nice knife!!!

What does the dealer do with the losers? o_O

I can’t even begin to wonder. I think some people are just more picky than others...I have asked dealers to check for tighter snap but that’s my peeve. I think some people prefer softer snap...so maybe people who ask for those get them...? Haven’t much of a clue. Really.

There are no losers, all of them are swell :) It's just good marketing to make you think your knife is the best of the bunch. I've gotten a Yukon, AK Hunter, Norfolk, Zulu Spear, and Wilfred Hunter, all fine, no special selection.

^^^^ Kicking myself for selling my Case Bose Norfolk (ebony) on the exchange a few months back. I needed to fund another expensive knife( can’t tell you which one). The CB was flawless.
