Lost my Case Pen knife about a year ago. I carried the dang thing nearly 20 years or more. My wife got tired of me looking for it all over the house so she surprised me with a new yellow handle Pen SS. It was an early Fathers Day gift.
Now I'm paranoid of loosing this one.

Don't worry. In my experience, the best way to find a lost item is to get another one to replace it. This makes the lost item turn up every bit as mysteriously as it disappeared :D.

Do you have any idea at all how the old one disappeared? Did you learn anything from it?

I've also met some awfully greedy chairs in my time, many of which were in automobiles. Just saying.

Jackknife suggests carrying the knife with a hankerchief/bandanna tucked over it. This works quite well. You might also consider a pocket slip.

Don't try using a nice neatly folded bandana, just shake it out loose and sort of just wad it up and stick it in the pocket on top of the knife.

My old man did that, and he carried the same Case peanut for 40 years without loosing it. And he wore suits all his working days, with docker style pants on weekends.

Congrats on the new case and that bandana idea sounds like it might work great. Leave it to JK he knows and teaches us young ones a lot. I love reading what he post. I seem to always learn from him. JK reminds me of my grandpa who died when I was 5 but I still remember everything about him.

They are really nice pocket knives. I have one in cv and enjoy it alot. Congrats.

Good looking knife. Handy size, too.

Commiserations on the loss, Congrats on the replacement.

That's a really nice knife. Very handy and of a size big enough to handle most daily jobs.
