Check out my new hawk from Steve Liley! All I can say is I am blown away. Steve is a great guy, fantastic to do business with and creates a very impressive hawk. Almost toooooo nice a hawk. This thing is a piece of art! I am used to beating things up but have not really worked this over yet. I just made the sheath last night! Color is plum brown. LOVE IT!

Very nice! I love his handles! I saw the horizon in your last pic, and thought that looked familiar to me. I lived in ABQ for about 11 years, I miss that landscape.
 
I agree on all counts, I don't know that I could work that half like I do mine. If it was me I would get an extra haft and keep the pretty one pretty.

I can't wait till mine comes in. Yes, they look to good to use....but I didn't buy mine to be a wall hanger.
 
I miss the old bugger hanging around here. ;-))) Steve is the man. That shape is one I love. Great piece, congrats Southerner, and welcome to the best forum.
