Thanks for checking my thread.
New Friction Folder featuring Nichols Stainless Damascus Blade, Titanium Scales, Frame and Backspacer.. Heat Treated Pivot and Stop Pin..
These New Friction Folders can be "pinned open" effectively converting a Folding Knife into a Fixed Blade.. The "pin" is not something one would carry around and routinely insert before cutting.. The design concept regarding the "pin" was to provide an option to an individual to convert the folder into a fixed blade.. If you work in an office you can carry your friction folder using the pocket clip and when you go on an African Safari you can pin your knife open and use a belt sheath for carry.. The Friction Folders do not need to be pinned to be used.. The "pin" is something you would install if you wanted to carry the knife in a sheath on a camping trip, rafting, fishing or other outing where a fixed blade may be the personally preferred blade of choice. I personally prefer fixed blades for skinning and other hunting chores.. When this knife is "pinned" it becomes a fixed blade.. We offer custom sheaths in leather as well as kydex and many clients carry their Friction Folder pinned open in this orientation. Have a great weekend..
Much Respect from Texas..
