I need to make some changes in a few things folks.

Since starting my forum things have picked up quite a bit for me. Many have already seen my turn around times have extended so this is part of why.
I appreciate all the support I really do and I really am having the time of my life helping you guys and gals and doing what I love. Its been a blast.

When I started the forum with my new knifemaker account I was allotted 50MB of space for pictures. Unfortunately due to my old forum on knifeforums before this one where I did not have to worry about how many pics I uploaded or how big they were I developed a bad habit of just going crazy with pictures and tutorials as well as the quantity. Here, unlike the KF's I have a limit to worry about and due to the way I have worked posting progress pics using both my scanner and my digital camera I am now at the point where I am forced to make some changes to how I do things or run out of space.

From this day forward all jobs coming will have before and after pictures and no in between pictures showing the progress. I will post inbetween of course so the owners know the status but I can no longer do so with pictures or scans. This is part of what uses up too much in the way of storage space. Digitals also are getting problematic due to their size and amount of space they take up and this even after I resize them.

So, if there are pics here that you like from old threads save them to your hard drives folks, especially full size digitals. Before long I will have to remove many of them to make room for more.

Also, from this day forward I will no longer be working on fixed blades or slip joints. However, feel free to ask and I can refer you to some in my circle of friends that do work on them. I also do not work on autos or balisongs for leagal reasons.

For me fortunately my first love which is the modern one hand opening and closing pocket clip equipped locking folders are my most frequent requests for work and this is where I will focus from now on redoing the folders or slightly modifying them by request as well as making some of my ti prybars, signiture ti low rider pocket clips to fit existing folders, Wave mods, and my Ouparator frame locking folder. Just keep in mind on these jobs that all of the progress pics of old except for the ones I decide to keep will be deleted to make space for future work. What I plan is to leave up one thread start to finish for each model. Once there is a start to finish for each model I have worked on I will not do that again. I will try to do so for models that come to me the very first time dependent on space.

What Spark recommends to me is for me to ask customers to show off the knives by starting new threads and posting pictures of what I've done to help me to have available space. So consider this my asking. :D

Thanks for your understanding guys and gals. Again I thank you all for the support.

You could use another service like Photobucket and post links to pictures.

Thanks I appreciate the post. I have those accounts now and I have used them to post on occasion for stuff I sell or for posts I rarely will go back to. The problem I've found with these free sites is that the pics posted expire after a while and you have to go back and find them to refresh it to keep the red x from taking the place of the pic after it expires or fix the red x when you see the pic is gone. They only offer 10 MB free storage so I ended up with multiple accounts in photo bucket, image shack, image cave, and even some that are expired and no longer let me load new pics. It got to be more work than it was worth trying to remember where I had the pics stored once they expired so I could find them again to refresh them. I just got tired of all the searching at times.

I have been looking into sites now that offer me more space trying to see what I can use to move all the pics I have stored here there to save them and give me a fresh 50 MB space every year here.

If you know of any that are known for not crashing let me know.
