Has anyone noticed that on the new Yangdu Christmas Specials there are several khuks that have little or no habaki style bolster, and little cho creep?
Are the kamis taking a hint after the special run requests?
That very well could be the case. After BuraGate a couple months ago I think eveybody is paying a little closer attention to what they are doing. Another thing worth noting is the fairly large influx of Karka blades. I've noticed that the Sarge makes a lot of pieces with standard bolsters and teeny-tiny cho creep. I wish I had some money for some of the pieces he's had during the DOTDs. Excellent work. Let's hope it keeps up
It appears today's offerings have 2 kukris (the "Jungee" & the "Sgt Karka Special") that have classic lines with the cho placed correctly, slightly curved grips and decent bolsters. Hopefully this trend will continue
