Here is one I just finished, Aldo's 1084 .200 thick, 16.125" OAL with a 10.5" blade, tapered tang, Toxic Green liners with some Cherry for the handle scales I got from a local furniture maker.
I got a real light ghost hamon that can barely be seen at the right angle. I am pleased how this came out. This will be my new camp user for a while.
Any feedback will be grateful.
Thanks
Chris

Thanks for Looking

Looks wonderful..Great BLADE...I love cherry for handles. If you can find an old log of wild cherry,it is nice to work and finishes out so well. Cherry loves an oil finish. Most commercial cherry furniture is bright pink and heavily stained to darken. Not too sure about the toxic green liners though, kinda jarring, if liners are necessary, to my eye black or red would look better.
