I just got my burl Bear Cub today and I love it!! It is going to become my new cigar cutter. Now talking about cigars, a friend of mine gave me four CAOx2. (maduro) I thought they may be a little too strong for my taste but they are fantastic. Any suggestions for cigars that have similar to these.:D:thumbup:

Congrats on the burl Cub. Those handles are sweet

You may like the Padron Pyramedies Anaversario. Not too pricey and a great smoke :)

Oh dang. The Mx2 is the pinnacle of cigars to me. The double wrapper is just amazing.

A bit spicier but similar - try the CAO Brazilia Piranhas.

Also things similar are maduro wrapped JR Ultimates, Excaliber and Punch. Not same, but similar. Rich earthy maduro flavor. (Not all maduro wrapper tastes good. Some are burnt black and taste as such. Bleech!)

Never tried those CAOs, but I was fond of Punch, Rocky Patel's Vintage series, the "heavier duty" Fuentes. There was another that had a lot of flavor, and was a real ballbuster, I think it might have been a Romeo y Julieta. I remember it was like a 5 x 60 size.

Get the CAO CX2 (Double Cameroon wrapper). . . They are much milder than the MX2!!!

(sorry about pics of non-Busse stuff... but the post was about cigars and cutters)

I am not that familiar with the CAO line, the couple I had I wasn't really impressed with... but that's just me. I know this is a very subjective thing, which is why there's more than just one cigar in the world!

My favorites include Padron 1964 and 1926, La Aurora Preferidos Tubos (particularly the Emerald), La Aurora 100 Años, Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur 1066, Carlos Toraño Exodus 1959, Fuente Hemingways.

These range widely in price from about $4.00 to about $30.00 per stick. The Hoyos and Toraños are the lower prices, the Padron 1926 is the high end.
