Really good looking knives. BUT 5 ounces ! Ooof. That’s what happens with big steel frame locks.

That red / black has my name on it, but why the thumb studs? So much cleaner without.

As usual, I want to mess around with scale swaps. Plus, the different finishes make for three possible frame types. :)

Hmm, how hard is it to remove those thumb studs?

I just can’t. ^^ They just released. It would just sit in a drawer @ almost 5oz.

I love that it’s only .43 handle thickness and a thinnish .12 blade thickness, but I know myself with that weight. I’m starting to learn from my mistakes, lol.

Just means more WEs for me. Good lookin’ knife though! If it didn’t have the thumb studs, I wouldn’t be able to resist.

Too heavy for me, WE's larger models that are lighter spoiled me. Especially the 037.

It's all the steel. Designs like this one or the upcoming Voltaic and Savant will be heavier than they need to be because of the steel.

With Civivi going "mid-tier" for WE, I'd love to see titanium paired with 14C28N. All three of these would have been major wins with titanium and 14C28N. TwoSun has been offering that combination in $100 knives for a while now so it isn't unreasonable.
