Ok, just opened my Voltaic. This knife ROCKS! I got the Black/Dark Green Micarta. I'm ordering the Silver / G10 now. It's a little heavy, but another great CIVIVI offering! The Micarta is the real deal - nice and soft, but bitey and super grippy.

Fires crazy fast and the fuller allows for super easy reverse flicking.

So I finally got to spend some time with the Voltaic. I did a scale swap and upgraded to Skiff bearings. Like the Beacon, this is a surprisingly awesome knife.

The extra weight of the steel isn't a huge deal. According to my scale, this swapped version weighs 4.15oz and its blackout brother weighs 4.29oz. For reference, my WE Seer in titanium weighs 3.75oz. I have heavier liner locks with similar blade length such as the CJRB Taiga at 4.88oz, the Harnds Talisman at 4.81oz, and the Real Steel H6 at 5.13oz.
