Forged these this past week. Made the spike like a big claw and that thing is sharp. Think one of my cats may have had some influence on me. Also did one with indents and one without, let me know what you think. The piece of steel is what they looked like before I beat them up. Its 1080 7/8" square by 6". Both heads are between 10 1/2 and 11".....

Really Really COOL!!!!!
You just keep making these cooler and cooler.
I will see you in a week so I can see these beauties up close and personal.

I really like those :) I think my favorite is the top one. What kind of handles are you gonna put in them? Are you selling any like these? Or have a website i can look at? :D

OF#2, Your a nag, they will get handles in time.

Terry, I've got a web page in the works. The home page is up but I've been dragging my feet getting pictures to the maker. I need to spend less time in the shop but its just to much fun. Really need to take care of the business end.Its called hawknknives.com and should come up if you type it in. Give me an email and we can talk business if you like....Ray

I agree, both are awesome, but I like the top one best.
I just looked at your site. You make some beautiful knives also!

Thanks SB, I need to get moving on my web site, I told myself next year and its almost here.

I WISH EVERYONE A GREAT NEW YEAR!!!!

Ray, I have a piece of damascus about that size. Should I bring it with me? Maybe we can dance around your forge. I would really like to see how you do that.

Bruce, The dance floor is pretty muddy right now but bring it with you anyway. See what we can do. I'm not even sure when the show is. I had a heck of a time finding the show last year, believe its in the same place as last year. All the times I've talked with Bruce Evans never bothered asking when it was.....Ray

Ray, if the dance floor is too muddy we ca all sit in the hot tub at the motel.

The show is Jan. 11 & 12 at:
Reed Opera House Ballroom
189 Liberty st. ME,
Salem Ore.

{Directly across from The Northwest Knives and Collectables Store}

It sounds like a pretty ritzy place and the table rent was 125-150 dallars. Hope they attract a bunch of people.

Hope you decide to go. See Ya there.

Bruce, Just happened to think I've got me a moble forging outfit. Maybe we could set it up in the hot tub and take turns banging on some hot steel. That would be a first.

I'll come and see you two one of the two days of the show if nothing else. Maybe I can sneak in.......
