New clip for a Kershaw JYD II

I just got a JYD II and it needs a new clip something fierce.. I just cant handle the futuristic pseuo-fantasy inspired piece of stainless screwed to it.. I know Ill prob have to get STR to do something custom, but before I went that route, I just wanted to see what others have done.. Anybody?
 
Others have dremeled the original clip down to less Batman-looking proportions. I knew STR would make a much less eye-catching clip and could make one tip-up lefty for me, so I begged him and paid him and he made me a clip and I'm very happy about it.

I had to register on Knife Dogs to see the pictures, but that wasn't a bad thing. ;) Those clips look nice. I just got a Boker Plus M-Type which comes with a very similar clip. I'm liking the low rider look.
 
I tapped mine for tip up cary and slapped a Benchmade clip on it. I'll post pix later if I get a chance.

I agree with you on this clip, and a lot of other Kershaw clips as well. Just not my taste...
 
I dug around in some of STR other threads and found pics of his JYD II clips.. Those are much better than whats on there now.. Elkins, good call as the clip on my Benchmade is prob my favorite out of any that Ive had..
