New Clip Point HB

I just got the Hiking Bowie (Hiking Buddy with Clip Point). It is a beauty. Below are pictures compared to my hiking buddy with 3/16. The 3/16 HB weighs 4.5 oz and the Hiking Bowie with 1/8 weighs 4.0 oz. Surprisingly, the balance point is almost identical, which is right at the back 2 pins.

That is a pretty looking pair Martin. The yellow pinstripe gives some nice contrast to the wood.

The Hiking Buddy is the sweet spot of the small knives to me. The handle size allows it to perform like a bigger knife.

Man that is a fine looking knife. I received the bog oak bushcrafter from last weeks batch today. it is beautiful! took some pictures inside tonight, but they don't do it justice. gonna try to snap a few this weekend outside and post up. they just keep getting better each week!
