New clothign for my kuks :)

I got new sheathes for 2 of my kuks. As usual images are hi-res, so might take a while on dialup. Click on the icon to see larger image.





Both were made by David Brown. IMHO excellent job. I really appreciate the big one, the original sheath was giving me hard time to begin with. The new crossdraw sheathes are just kewl

Although, I have to admit I did cut myself once with small AK, when drawing... Fingers in the wrong place and thebalde went through the sheath... Won't happen with these

Not normally a kydex fan, but David Brown does some real fine work.
I like the quickdraw open top draw. I've been neglecting some khuks because they're harder to carry, so it looks like I need to talk to David or Dan ...

Those sheaths look great. Anybody know a good source for kydex, rivets, etc? I have a number of frequently used tools that would benefit from sheaths like that.

Check out Texas Knifemakers. They have everything you need including stuff to make a Kydex sheath. They're nice people to do business with.

If you just gotta do it please line it with leather, keeps it quiet -and- smooth.
And won't mark your khuk's.

Looks very good. I thought I was the only one who received some kickass kydex sheaths today <pout>. I shall have to console myself that my new beauties are for the modified no ripples, comfy handle YCS that Dan also worked on for me.
