since you ask Raoul... well, it was not an easy task to find a way to do the recoating. Simply CRK is not found of reconditioning of re-ground / modified knives. However finally I found a solution and just two days ago (yeah, right timing) I received back my knife... AND also custom made leather sheath, so now I have original sheath, custom leather and of course my kydex. Pic's later this week (probably on weekend). For now that's all I can say
