The knife arrived today. Nicer then I thought from the pics from seller sent me. Love the nail nick, easy to open and the old style clip and new pivot. It has a very late lockup, but that shouldn't be a problem as I have never had an issue with lockups. I even tried to push the locker over to the presentation scale and it doesn't move. Thoughts on that? Seems Mnandi's have late lockups from what I have seen.

The lock up looks similar to many of mine.
Cocobolo is the one I carry too.

Concur on the lockup. Better 90% than 10%, and CRK will fix it if it ever runs out of room.

Cocobolo is one of my favorite woods on the Mnandi. Mine, like Lisantica's, has a late lockup as well so I wouldn't worry. Enjoy your new knife!

Thank you to everyone for all your help and info! Knife is in my pocket! Have a great weekend!

Yeah I just bought a snakewood Mnandi and it's about 75% but I really don't think late lockup is nearly as big of a deal as the Internet makes it out to be. I've never had a problem with late lockup and think super early would be less safe.

Also, for whatever it's worth, the Mnandis that my older (adult) son and I have (one each) are both the "latest" of our CRKs. Two is a very small sample size, so I have no idea if that's really representative. I do know that it doesn't bother me with a CRK in general and bothers me a lot less with what is honestly a lighter use knife like the Mnandi.

Really nice wood on that one. Wish I could find one like that, I've been looking.
I noticed out of my 4 crks, only 2 have 50/50 lockup (mnandi and small seb) the other 2 (large seb and large 25) around 75%. The 50/50 sound different than the 75% ones. The 50/50 have a crisp click while the 75% is more of a thud.
