Those SAK style knives may not be up to real SAK standards, but it's hard to beat the prices. Especially for youngsters, you won't have to worry about replacing an occasional lost knife!

That City Stick looks pretty good, like a sword cane without the sword, which I couldn't get away with carrying anyway.

The White Wax Wood Staff looks like it has a natural rough surface. Cut off a 4 1/2' length for a hiking staff, and keep the 1 1/2' remainder for a baton.
