A 5-incher with a serrated blade made from VG1. How much better will it be than AUS 8?

New catalogs will be sent out next month and back orders will begin being taken.

Thank you for the information update on Cold Steel. I have been wondering why it has taken them so long to get their website updated with the new models. I have recently put in a request for the latest Cold Steel catalog too.

I saw the other thread about the new Cold Steel products for 2006. VG-1 is the lowest of the VG-series steels, with VG-10 being ranked highest. I don't see it being that much better than AUS-8A. But I do consider AUS-8A a good quality blade steel.
