The hunters seem a bargain for the price. Decent enough steel, and good thin blades...My big complaint is that the handles--while comfortable--are a bit slippery, which combined with the lack of a guard makes me wary of using it as a hard-use knife and/or wet conditions. That being said, they feel great in the hand, they're dirt cheap, and easily modified.
The Pocket Bushman, while looking nice in-catalog was very disappointing in hand. It opens stiffly, has edges on the handle that bite the fingers, and is downright suicidal to unlock and close, the means of pulling on the cord often bringing the hand dangerously close to the blade during closing, as well as the lock release being uncomfortably stiff. If they were able to fix these issues I might be sold--in fact I was really excited about seeing this one--but alas it was not what I had hoped. That being said, it's still a rugged knife with an overall decent design...it just has a few bugs that are problematic enough to nearly ruin the whole kit and kaboodle in my opinion.
