There's been a lot of Izula color discussions lately. I guess boring old black just works to well for me. :D

Mind if i ask what program you used? i did a very similar thing not long ago with Gimp, and those look pretty nice.

im bored tell me if you want to see any other model in any color ill do it for fun:)

although alternate colors would be interesting to say the least, seeing them anytime soon or even in the near future is doubtful, once they get all of their current projects into full production then they can start to consider this kind of stuff. but for me i just prefer black knives if they have to be coated :D

That looks really cool. If they ever make a blue one I'll be grabbing one for the wife.

If people want a different color finish that badly, just strip the blade with easy off oven degreaser, the yellow can, and the coating will wipe right off. Then get some duracoat the color you want, and for less then $30 you can all the stuff to strip and paint 5-7 knives with.

EASY OFF: $4
Duracoat: $15
Harbor Freight airbrush: $9

Just playin around, color doesn't matter but it makes the izula stand out, plus the ladies like it :)

I like them....I would like tiger strip (black/blue) any way you could Photoshop one of those up?

If the purple was a bit darker, I'd be in for one... hell, I'd probably beg for one. But in the end I think black is just fine because these knives get pretty nasty looking after some use.

i've been a Photoshop abuser for 21 years and have yet to find any ladies that are impressed with Photoshop skillz.

fortunately, i've managed to find a few who liked other things.

Ha, no I ment the color of the izulas, my girlfriend loves that you can get them in different colors and cord wrap them.

if your GF likes "things wrapped in cordage" perhaps she's trying to tell you something.

are you familiar with Shibari? how are your knots? :D
