New Comb

This sonds really stupid, but I'm looking for a new comb. I've gone from a shaved head to fairly long hair in the last 6 mos. (after shaving/buzzing for 6 years), and started carrying your garden variety comb in my pocket. You know 'em, $2 for a pack of three at the Wally World, but I've lost count of how many I've broken in my pocket. Any suggestions?
 
I buy Ace brand pocket combs. I have never broken one! Hope this helps.
 
Ditto Ace....but I have been known to break them too. It's still the best I've found.

I have never broken an Ace accidentally. I used to break them deliberately when I was a kid, when other kids would say, "This comb is unbreakable! Go ahead, try to break it!" -- but not by accident.
 
Kent combs. The Rolls-Royce of combs. ;) Hand-made. Hand-cut and polished teeth.

You can actually *feel* the difference when you run it across your scalp.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. (...and I usually use a brush - except for the Kent in my briefcase)

Where did you order from? The shipping seems to cost more than the comb at every place I've found.

Hello Cockroachfarm - I received my Kent combs. You were right about the quality - they are great. Besides the polished feel, the color is very unique. Now I will have to look into ordering a brush! :)

Glad to hear it! (You never know what each person's definition of 'quality' is)

Da***m - now you've got me thinking about Kent brushes........ ;)
 
Just got my own combs in yesterday from HairBotique. Got a Kent course toothed and a 20T folding pocket comb. Both are great, delivery was quick (Sunday night - Wednesday). The 20T is smaller than I expected, so be aware of that if your considering getting one. The "Sheath" portion is made of the same hard plastic/resin as the comb and I expect it will guard the teeth very well
