It arrived, at last.
I just got my "one previous owner only" Commander. It´s a ´00 model (at least that´s what it says on the blade). No bladeplay in any direction whatsoever. The lock engages just to the left of the centerline. The blade doesn´t rub any liners. It has never been sharpened. The color on some of the smaller screws seems to have been worn off, but that´s normal I understand from doing extensive resarch on this forum. Everything seems great.
BUT then there is that one little thing that worries me:
The original box i received seems to be UNCRUSHED
This can´t be right. I mean the nice, allknowing, humble, noble, and omnipotent (edited out "beatiful" when I saw the pic´s of you - the horror, the horror
) people here referred to as the "usual suspects" must know how to handle a situation like this.
Should I crush the box myself and in the future be addressed to as the "couterfeiter" or loose the box altogether?
Even worse, could this be some "Paki" or Chinese copy made from some old black tefloncoated wok pans?
What should I do
/Colinz
Thanks 2Sharp for getting me hooked on Emersons... maybe.
