I have replaced the not so good factory sheath of my Mora Clipper 860 (under the Bahco name) to one made by our own Marion David Poff. Since Marion has most of the Mora models in his possession (and can make sheaths for them), I did not have to go through the pains of shipping my knife to him. I have ordered a Spyderco G-clip as well and got a FireSteel holder along with the sheath.

The sheath is very slim, easily concealable.

The FireSteel holder can be made for any of the popular types. In this case it's a large Primus rod which is identical to the LMF Army in physical size.

Of course we have to secure our FireSteel against accidental loss. For this, Marion had a very simple and ingenious solution, using a piece of surgical tube and a small cable tie.

The holder fits nicely in the profile of the sheath, doesn't stick out to snag on brushes, twigs and such.

With the help of all the holes on the sheath we can secure our knife in a lot of different ways to a lot of different places. We can use Tek-Lock, Spydie G-clip (my choice), a length of para-cord or even some home made leather or webbing loop attachment. Only the user's imagination is the limit.
The sheath profile is very slim, even with the G-clip on.

This clip is easily removable and can be mounted in many different ways (horizontal, vertical and between...).

This is all, that's visible of the G-clip from the front.

This is how it looks on a belt, but with the clip you don't even need a belt to use the sheath.

There is a hole on the sheath at the tip of the knife to drain any water or liquid quickly from the sheath. In my opinion this is a very good, usable and versatile sheath for the popular Mora knives. And good looking to boost!
This sheath can serve more than one knife in its lifetime. All we have to do is buy one of the fitting models. (any Mora 860, 861 or 840 for this particular sheath) The fitting, finish and the workmanship is very clean, professional. The sheath provides a tight and secure grip, even in a reversed carry position. I was not able to shake the knife loose, no matter how hard I shook it or jumped up and down. I am very happy and pleased with Marion's work, he is very accommodating and it's a pleasure to deal with him.

Are you sure that is the one I sent you? Cause those images make it look really nice! : )

Thank you my friend, I really appreciate you posting those images.

May your sheath give you years of service. And maybe it will even serve more than one knife!

Best,
Marion
