New condor axes up!

I've got 4 each of the Scout Hatchet and Woodworker Axe on order direct from Condor. Can't wait to see them when they come in!

Nice. I really like that scout hatchet. I especially like that the handle doesn't flare out before it reaches the eye. You could easily choke up your grip and use it for finer work. I could see myself going out with just this and a pocket knife as my only blades. A bit longer handle might be nice. . . Maybe around 14 inches or so. The 10 inch handle on this would make it really easy to pack though. I guess it's a trade off. I don't know if a longer handle would really make enough difference in chopping power to be worth the extra space and weight in the pack.

It will be interesting to see a review of these.
I'm expecting good things from that 1045 carbon steel

No clue! I've never made it to Blade--just SHOT a few times. Maybe Joe knows. :)

When they arrive, yeah! Won't be for a few weeks yet before things start shipping, though. :)

I was hoping to see something similar to the 19” Wetterlings offered, but that 16 ¼” doesn’t look too shabby.

I like the looks of the woodworker but I don't have any experience with 1045 I suppose it will do alright though.

I like the look of that medium-size, double-bit Michigan axe.
