It's been long time since I had a congress knife, and when I saw this knife I realized that I just need one right away. It has great bone and god blades combination. The springs are firm just as I like, ideal length for me 3 5/8" and long pulls. Also it's unused! Here are some photos, sorry for being not so good

I wonder if someone can date this knife.

Thanks for looking
Mike

That's a great looking Congress!

Funny, just as I was posting in another thread I was thinking about nice German style stag and that I don't have a Robt Klass yet(!) Congrats on your new knife.

Nice one Mike. I'll leave this here for a bit. If we don't get any action, I'll move it to Bernard Levine's forum.

I might b wrong but I think the knife is a recent make. Now most kissing leaned is made over seas now but they still make a few in their old solingen plant. German kissing cranes are excellent knives. The ones I've carried had the best fit and finish and great steel that could get scary sharp. Even the new ones made in china are excellent knives. Great fit and finish, great handle materials, steel is ok, but the quality is unmatched with the price range its in. Great lookin knife by the way.

I've got practically the same knife, although mine was made in 1979. Same blades (although the stamps and etching are different), shield, and stag handles. My only real complaint is that the blades are bass ackwards compared to my American made congresses.
