Who the hell wants a mayo knife anyway?
I got a whole silverware drawer full of them and they don't cut very well.

To bad Tom won a Mayo knife cause I'll bet Mayo will welsh on it and poor Tom will never see the thing.

Tom, you're not getting the idea ... read my suggestion again ... slower this time. The idea is to have a contest and win it under a different name. You forgot that part....

You're not going to fool anybody this way. I'm afraid you're just not smart enough for a life of crime ... go back to grinding knives. You're better at that.

Maybe if Tom had a grinding contest against that Mayo guy and whoever finishes the knife first wins it and the contest. To make it more interesting he could set up his grinder on the beach and all those beach bunnies could cheer him on. He could even videotape the whole thing and offer the tape on late night TV with those home shopping guys for $9.95 along with 35 of his knives.

If Tom modifies the blade he receives -- say, by adding serrations -- does he void Mayo's warranty?

(And Tom, keep us posted on the knife. Doesn't Mayo just work in 1095? How will it hold up in the islands?)
