New Cool Bali

made by fred perrin, forgot to add. Pocket clip, and it's easy to tell which is the safe handle!

Well, that is interesting. My guess is that it's not much for conventional manipulation. I've seen Mr. Szabo manipulate a few butterfly knives before. He had a bit of fun with my new hawkbill toy. The interesting question will be what new sorts of manipulation this interesting shape opens up.

Very wierd, I'd love to try to flip it, I just wonder what Perrin went through trying to make it!! :D

I think itll flip just fine. Fred has a reputation around here for being great at manipulating balisong. He probly figured out a way to make that design work. How much did it cost, if you dont mind me asking?

I bet it would flip just fine. It would require a slight loosening of the grip during handle rotations, but the handle should have a reduced tendency to exit the hand. My credit card is screaming "Nooooooo! Nooooooo! Not another hand made balisong! Noooooooo!". I'm not listening. :D

The only problem is that I didn't see a price. Is this another production model, or are they all custom?
I like the 6" "Hasan-Chop" scimitar blade!!
Judging by the prices of the other knives, it'll be a pretty penny.
I might just have to have it, though...
my Taylor Tanto has very slightly curved handles,

I've seen some parker stainless slab sandwitch balis that are S shaped.
They've flipped pretty well, I don't see how this would be much different...

I couldn't just buy one site unseen. I'd have to play with one a bit first, but it does look interesting.

The Szabo/Perrin bali is going to be wicked.

Laci has the proto, and it flips wonderfully.

I'll have this proto very soon (next week), and I'll certainly do a complete review with pics and post it right here in the Bali Fourm. :)

6" blade
Szabo designed
Perrin made
Solid stainless, heavy-duty construction throughout

This is clearly THE fighter's bali.

Soon.
