I have the older version and think its a pretty well made piece of work. Does anyone have any experience with this one - or the older ones they wish to share? I have heard the County Comm's customer service sucks, but I've never had to use so I can't say...

It looks like it fits the bill allright , for a B.O.B. though I would go for something a little less 'tactical' looking that might raise suspicions of whats inside. Use your imagination for the possiblities on that one.
 
Have a look in TGB&U before you decide their customer service sux. You won't find any first-hand reports of that, just rumors, and it's not hard to trace those rumors back to their originator.

Exactly. It looks functional as all get-out, but then again, if you carried that into the office, you'd look as though you just jumped out the back of a SWAT van. Unfortunately, that is not really the professional image I'm trying to cultivate. Shrug.
 
My "EDC bag" is almost as functional in apsect as the one pictured on countycomm ,almost.. but not quite. and mine doesnt have YKK zippers, it looks like the ccbob is built like a tank ! but theone I use would probably pass an inspection without having to be searched since it looks so... officy or laptopy (making up new words here hehehe)
 
Great. Thanks a lot. Not only has my knife want list increased tenfold after joining this website, now after hanging out in Gadgets and Gear I find that I need these. I just added a bunch of stuff to my want list from County Comm.
