 I just recieved my cqc-12 the other day as a edc. I am very impressed with how it looks and works. My commander now has a new partner. Ty for everyones imputs here at the Blade Forum.

I took some great pics with my digital canon but i now have to upgrade my membership status...lol

i really like my '12 also, its what i've been edc'ing for the past few weeks, just got a new strider SnG i might play with for a while though.

i wish EKI did something to make the finish look better on the ti side, maybe flame 'em like strider, or??

they almost look like they are missing something lol, like the G10 on that side.

i almost agree with you sifu but as i use mine alot at a lab kennel so looks are secondary to overall function. the way the wave works is so smooth out of the pocket. its performance is excellent overall plus i dont have to worry about asthetics compared to performance.

oh, and just wanted to add:

i always thought the hinderer lock stabilizer (like on strider SnG/SmF/etc) was just a bunch of hype, i can now see the advantages of it after carrying my '12 for a while, dont suppose ya HAVE to have it, but i do see why ya might want to have it.

Would you care to elaborate? I know that the stabilizer keeps the lockbar from being overbent, but what other advantages are there?

First, Emerson shouldn't have made the cut-out in the lockbar so deep that it feels flimsy, and second, if the long slit in the titanium was made under an angle towards the back of the knife then the lockbar could only travel inward, not outward.
There would be no need for any kind of add-on stabilizer like there is now.

Think about it,
:)

I love my cqc 12 and carry it everyday. It works like a charm and the wave works whether im sitting or standing. Wouldnt want it any other way. I especially like the way it looks with the use it gets. Right on target!
