I just received a 2004 CQC7 B folder from TAD Gear and the knife is a beauty! Razor sharp out of the box, excellent fit and finish- blade grinds and handle finish is perfect. The liner lock is solid and withstood many hard spine wacks. No blade play whatsoever. If this is indicative of Emersons' current quality control, they are doing an excellent job. Great bang for the buck!

Since I posted this, I have also bought a Super CQC7. What a handfull. It's no wonder this is the knife that started the tactical revolution!

How do you like the Super over the Standard 7? I have a small hand and was wondering if the Super would be to big?

The regular CQC7 always seemed a bit small to me. The Super is on a par with my CQC8 and it is a perfect fit. I do have large hands, though. For a large knife, it carries very well. I'll post some pics in-hand if you want.

I have the Super SOCFK... Think Super CQC-7 blade, with "Specwar" handle, with Wave. It's a little bigger then the CQC-7 - because of a bigger and more secure handle.

I have small/tiny hands, I don't think it's TOO big.... It's pretty hardcore - like carrying a small sword! lol

It's the Lethal Edge! 4" Chisel ground Tanto blade - turning bad guys into stew meat all day along.
