New CRK Large Insingo arrived

Well I got a nice package delivered today....a new CRK Insingo
with micarta inlays...I am stoked about this blade design. The
knife feels great in hand and the micarta gives a little extra
grip and gives that roundness in the hand....I love it!!
As every CRK I have the blade is centered perfectly and the
fit and finish is amazing!! Ok here are a couple of pic's....Enjoy

how does the micarta feel? is it smooth or a little tacky feeling... have a small 21 micarta inbound. oh by the way your's looks great!

It has a nice tacky feel....I like it....and the blade design is fantastic.
You can't really tell, till you get in hand, but it is sweet!!
 
like the design in the micarta, some people might not notice that, looks better than the straight pattern...
 
great score, I like the insingo and micarta combo
have to get one too, love my small insingo...

I noticed that also. I really like this pattern more than the straight design. Does anyone know the story on the micarta? Is the difference luck of the draw or is it on purpose?
 
Micarta can have a slightly different texture and vary in color a bit....
I always ask to see a pic of the knife I am buying instead of the
stock photo, and most dealers don't mind....but I'm odd that way...LOL

Have you really used it yet? I'm curious how you like that insingo blade in normal use. I ask because I bought one that I thought I'd love, but ended up not liking the blade at all. I'll probably sell it once I get back to the States because I don't use it.
 
Well I have not used this much, I have opened a few packages and cut some cord, but that
is about it so far, but I do like this blade....I was not sure when I was first looking at it but
it is a sweet looking blade design also. Sorry to hear you do not like the blade....
 
Never saw a blade like that on a CRK, nor the non parallel micarta strips. But I like it! Congratulations on a great purchase.
 
I noticed that the pattern of the micarta is different on the Insingo than on the Sebenza 21 that I just got
also...

Beautiful knife. My new large 21 micarta has the same color inlays. Looks sharp!
