I received a new-pivot Zaan last Wednesday (build date January 29, 2014) and the Ti looks different than on my 2013 Sebenza 25.

I think it looks better in a certain way; it is slightly darker gray in color and sparkles in the sunlight.

Watching the 2006 video, Chris said Ti sourced to them varies slightly from batch to batch, and they work very hard to keep everything consistent.

Has anyone else noticed this? Have a new CRK from this year and can compare it to an older model?

Titanium parts can be a different colour after blasting even when cut from the same stock never mind from batch to batch made months or even years apart. I think CRK have started using a courser blasting medium in more recent times though, as the change in finish is something that I think most of us have noticed. (Even just changing the blast medium or parts of the gun can make a surprising difference to the look of a surface finish, especially given it's unintended).

Like HAZE stated, I too think they now use a different media for their blasting. Regular sebenzas seem to have a smoother finish than some of the newer ones I have owned. It's a slight difference and mostly noticeable when comparing two side by side.

Ditto to what Haze and Nyefmaker have said. Side by side, it is easy to see that my large Regular and large Original have a smoother and a bit lighter finishes than does my 2011 Umnumzaan.
