New CRKT Hissatsu AO Folder at A.G. Russell

Along with a lot of great looking new knives from Spyderco, Benchmade
(the Lum), Kershaw, & others, this knife has caught my attention.

I was waiting for it to come out, and A.G. had it on his weekly email
today. At a discounted price, even. I looked around and it seems he's
the only one that has them right now.

a search on froogle.com will give you some better prices, though i'm not sure about availability in all cases. i may be mistaken, but i think for the most part this knife will not be out until April 7. that's what 1-2 web sites seemed to suggest. i've had my eye on it as well. looks great!

I'm not a huge fan of liner locks, but I kind of like the shape of the blade and the overall style it looks kind of cool, very sleek.

I ordered one from A.G. Russell...
and a few hours later received an email apologizing profusely.

It said the knife is on backorder (both the AO and manual opening
versions) until April.

I think CRKT is gonna sell a lot of those, especially when dealers
start moving 'em out at 55 bucks or so...

I have had an eye on one of those for a while. It looks like a pro tech auto which you can't get here in canada. I will probably wait for them to come down in price. I bought a First Strike when they were just out for over a 100$ canadian and it still drives me nuts to see them for 45$.

Yeah, you're right, it does look a little like the pro tech.
Very cool design IMO.

They list for 99.00, I'm willing to pay 79.00 to get one as
soon as they're out. (But I won't pay the full list.)

Man, I've been buying knives for a long time, and it's a good feeling
to be excited about some new production designs like this one!

looks like a cool little knife. gimmicky but still cool. love that osaraku tanto style blade.
