Just looked at pics of the new CS Voyager series. Using the Demko lock and the blades are San Mai VG1 with a full flat grind at least on the clip points. Handles have been redesigned too. Retail is a bit more than the "old" Voyager series but I bet street prices will be decent. I know at some point I will have to scarf one just to have. keepem sharp

That does sound like a winning design if the price is reasonable.

Looks like they converted most or all of their folders to the Tri-Ad Lock. I want the new Recon 1 clip point.

I'm a little irked that the knives have gotten deeper top to bottom. I guess the Tri-Ad lock requires some depth.

I am going to pickup the Recon 1 and one of the Voyagers once they come available. :D

The new handles look horrible. Also that bulge between your hand and the blade was totally unnecessary.

I agree. I like the older handles on most of the redesigned knives, but I love the fact they're going to the Tri-Ad lock. I promised myself I'd never buy another knife without handling it first but I may have to break that for the American Lawman or Voyager! :)

I've seen pics off the dealer catalog and I like them. Also supposedly adjustable pivot on the Voyagers. keepem sharp

I don't like the redesigned handle. It seems to force the hand, regarding placement of fingers. Also, there is no 5" blade, only 4" and 5,5", which is a deal-breaker for me.
I like the old Voyager XL very much... this one just does not appal to me at all.
Different strokes for different people...

First time I saw the new voyager and recon handles,I was plain horrified:barf:Ugly as Hell. Then again CS is not known for the most ergonomic handles.:D
