Whats up Guys, Finished up some new custom knuckle knives, this is my first attempt. Made from 1/4" thick, 154CM Stainless Steel. Measuring 9" OAL with 4.5" BL, wrapped in black paracord.

What a waste of steel.

Sorry, I can not find that even remotely attractive.

Kind regards,

Jos

Now thats tactful and constructive and it has kind regards too.

I myself am not into the blade, however you can tell the machining is very nice. A couple spots aren't 100% symmetrical, but still a cool execution, it could be he camera angle, it could be my eyes and it could be intentional, but its still an excellent job.
I prefer the one on the bottom, I like the way the knuckle guard is machined.
My only suggestion is to find a way to make the para cord wrap look a little cleaner. Great job, neat idea to make a smaller knuckle knife.

Nice! I also agree that the comment above.. well was just STUPID. No tact, no constructive comments, just a waste of a post. The knife might not appeal to a lot of people but at least be respectful of someone hard work.

Amazing concept!!! I'd like to see it with a nice clip and a recurve! Maybe a hawkbill! A beefier wrap would make it a bit nicer.

My apologies for not being constructive. I won't apologize for being stupid, that's the way I was born.

I'll try to be constructive:

Mr Brous, loose the knucklethingies, loose the paracord, make a nice G10 or Micarta handle, and make some nice "practical" tactical blades. I'm sure you have the skills.

I will refrain from leaving comments in your threads from now, because my honest opinion seems to rub people the wrong way.

Kind regards,

Jos

Not my kind of blade because, well, it's illegal to have something like that where I am. However, it does look pretty awesome IMO.

i have little to no respect for a maker who still ones customer blades..
there are still some German tactical blade forum members who still did not recieve there knive

the guy has some skills to machine stuf, but really no idea what makes a knife good and safe to use

this dous not belong here.. these knives should be left in the mall ninja and pirate cove, and with the rest off people who will never use a knife..
and sell this (( XXXX )) on ebay

please continue

Jos and I both see that you got the skills to make great blades. But it seems like knives that would appeal to a younger demographic. The knives in this thread are acually very useable and would save your life in a second. But weird to see them because people just dont really carry that stuff. I think you do great consistant metal work, and i'd love to see you come up with some traditional stuff. Could be really nice.

Constructive criticisim is one thing "Waste of Steel" is not tactless, just mean.

Per "weird to see them because people just dont really carry that stuff", you all need to get out more. Just cause its illegal and not worn within your demographic does not mean there are not customers for this type of knife. I know a 40 yo woman who carries a knuckle. She's a stack tester for an environmental firm and was almost raped going back to her hotel room in an industial area on the Gulf. She's in no way shape or form a knife nut, but when she returns to her hotel room at night, that knife is on her and by her bedside.

Per "practical tactical" and "some traditional stuff" to many on this custom forum, that's just the old "Ho Hum" gee whiz another tactical knife clone.

How is the knife at piercing leather or kevlar?

All the trench knives I know have a handle.
This one doesn't and here's why.

Straight from Naruto.

Would you send your boy to war with something from an Anime series?

Would you draw an anime series with gear people have been using for years?

Making fantasy real ...

I like these a lot...some of your previous knives I've seen were a little heavy on the "look what I can machine!" factor but these are much more streamlined and attractive, in my always humble opinion. ;)

I like the machining around the knuckles, and that is about it.

I agree that the paracord in this case detracts, and also find that either the photo or the grinds or both look washy, and lacking definition.

The overall design is balanced towards the handle, and the sharpened blade length appears a bit small, blade-to-handle ratio wise.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

I think these look pretty cool. A different blade shape, and a beefier paracord wrap would make it even better.
