All I can say is WOW! I never imagined it would be this finely crafted. It's solid as rock too.

I'll post pics later tonight when my kid goes to sleep but its freakin great:D

Oh gwad!! We are being taunted...The suspense is killing me. I've never seen one before so I'm real curious to see what it looks like. :)

Bad Ass is all I got to say...

Top Notch quality, tough thick leather

this thing will hold up as long as the knife will

No way did he charge enough for this

That looks freakin awesome. Construction looks like it matches that of the knife it contains:thumbup:

Very nice, love the look of leather.

I need to get me one..

You know what would make it look even better?

Some micarta grips

Hey Moose would you make something like that for a BK-9?

I have 5 orders for BK9's I picked up yesterday and today. Yes, I can, please don't ask about pricing or such on the discussion forums, I have PM and email for that, if you wish to find out. Thanks for the kind words guys.

My sheaths are not pretty, or frilly, they are austere, functional, and tough. Just like the knives they hold.

Its a 10oz shoulder cut, with double nylon stiching, onepiece welt/firesteel loop set for 3/8", dyed with a dark british tan, and sealed inside and out with bee's wax and lanolin. Usually, when I'm done, they feel like kydex.

I gave Ethan one of my M2 hori models that a guy stiffed me on (the last time that ever happens, promise). I know he'll never use it, I just like knowing the company its keeping. :D

So I take it QT, you don't want a refund?

Moose

Congrats on the new leather pants, Quarter Tank! That thing is suuuhhhweeeet!!!

Nicely done, Moose!! That 10oz leather looks like it'll last forever!!

Do you use a one layer welt along the blade portion of the sheath?

I see that the firesteel loop also doubles as a spacer to allow the handles to fit.....nice design.

Do you hand-stitch the sheaths or is it machine-stitched? It looks super-durable and the color is awesome.

Single layer 10oz welt at the bottom with a drain hole that is made into the build. All handmade, no machine ever touch my sheaths, from cutout to final polish, my 2 hooves. Nylon stitching too, and waterproofed inside and out.

Having made a few myself (still learning about staining though) I have to say that is very nice looking and ruggedly simple
