I just yesterday got a new (well...new to me) Custom Puukko from J. Arthur Loose. Damascus blade, Ambonya wood handle. The blade measurement is fiven inches if you include everything forward of the handle, and four inches if you subtract the ricasso. At first I didn't like the thick ricasso, but then I considered the fact that every Puukko I've ever bent or broken has been right at the tang/handle juncture. That won't happen with this one.
Inspite of how attractive I think this one is, it's amazingly stout, took a crazy sharp edge, and has the most comfortable handle I've ever felt. It feels like it was custom made to suit me...I'm happy!
The rest of the knives on the page are just my tinker projects, knives I've made, rehandled, etc.
