New Cyclone Knife

This is my first posting so I hope I am in the right place. Just received a Cyclone knife today and it opens a little slower than I expected compared to other speedsafe knives. Is there anything I can do or should I send it in for repair? Are there any adjustments that I could make? Any feedback would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
 
Welcome! For all things Kershaw you're in the right place.

Is it the Mini or full sized? All 5 of my mini's open a bit faster than the big ones...Just let it break in as you use it. The more you use it, the easier it will open. This is typical of the Speedsafe.

However, after a month or so, if you don't notice any difference, you might want to call Kershaw.

Thanks for the reply. It is a full Cyclone with the tanto blade. I really love the knife, but I just thought it would pop open just a little quicker. I will do as you suggest and see what happens. Thanks Again.

SPXT, in honor of this thread and your sound advice to this new member, I move that you put the dueling Ti ZDP189 mini Cyclones back up as your avatar and take down that portrait that your buddy took of you at the annual toothless jar chugger's celebrity ho-down!!!!:D

As if Randy Quaid ain't scary enough, you had to give him a shaggy beard and yank all his chompers out!! Yikes:eek:

What do take a picture like that and get a free bowl of soup?? Looks good on you though, SPXT!;)

Yah, but I'm handsome and fearsome all at the same time...And I still have most of my teeth.:D.:D.
 
BTW...It seems that most of the larger Cyclones are alittle slower than the Mini's...At-least that's what I've noticed with the ones I have/had. I also have a Tanto Cyclone, and it is somewhat slower than my Mini-Cyclone.
