New Damascus Knives - step by step

These are two blades I forged out from damsacus i received from a friend.

The first one is nickel and 1075 packed in a really unusual way. I know a laddering die was used to achieve the pattern.

Second is standard 1075/15N20 200 layer damascus with edge patterning.

I will post further photos as i progress with the construction of these two blades.
