New Danner boots for $50

Gempler's has Danner's 6" Contractor's Boots on clearance for just $48.88. Originally $195.50, now just $48.88. Last I checked, though, they only have sizes 8, 8.5, 9.5 and 13. Description says: "Constructed of 100% waterproof, full-grain leather that has triple-stitched seams for superior durability. Vibram Gumlite sole is lightweight, non-marking and extremely durable. Gore-tex lining keeps your feet dry and comfortable. USA made."

Thanks for the link. I ordered mine today! Even thought they did not have the size I wanted they ordered them and honored the price. Said I should have them in abount 2-3 weeks. Good boot for the $$$. :)

If you're looking for a decent price on taller snakeproof boots, check www.sierratradingpost.com . I got some Lacrosse snake boots for $70 and I like them a lot. They have several advantages over my older Chippewa snake boots that cost $160 quite a few years ago.

Bummer----I just checked the website and they are out of sizes below 11.5. Glad my tens were still in stock when I ordered.
 
Oh, jeez, now the pressure's really on. Well, lest you think I don't put my money where my mouth is, I ordered a pair too. :D They should be here sometime this week. I've ordered some things from Gempler's before and it's always been great. Anyway, hope you enjoy the boots, guys.
