PLEASE put some natural scales on that one...
 
The knife will be fully engraved and probably carry ivory scales.
Edmund will have it ready and on his table at the coming Blade Show...

I love to see a fine knife in pre-finished condition such as this, as it helps one to appreciate the effort and skill that goes into the making of it.

Les...please stop baiting Mike....it doesn't come across as good natured...unless you two have buried the hatchet, and are cool now.

There is nothing sadder than two middle-aged alpha males insulting each other in cyberspace, acting like there are no reprecussions, while the clueless bystanders pick sides and snicker.

Mike and I have been talking on a regular basis since last summer. Didn't you get the Memo?

Im not baiting him, just joking around. Didn't realize you had cornered the market on being a smart ass. :D LOL

There are a lot sadder things the two middle-aged Alpha Males insulting each other in Cyber Space.

Take for instance a Governor (Ok former Governor) spending $8,000. on with a Pro...with his wife and kids at home. Having to resign, give up a promising political career, possibly going to prison and losing his law license. Couple that with Bill Clinton giving him advice on how to "beat" it. Now those two alpha males being covered in cyber space, print and the broadcast media....now that is sad.

People took sides on that too. Alan Dershewitz Law Professor at Harvard doesn't see a problem with this (of course Spitzer was one of his students).

While I the lowly custom knife entrepreneur laugh my ass off at this MORON.

Man this is America! You get to pick sides and snicker if you choose. After all I spent a year defending South Korea from North Korea to keep your 1st Amendment right intact! :D LOL

I will defer to your sense of fairness and sensitive side.

I now return the thread (giving Mike the last joke) to the very cool knife that Edmund is building.

I have to say that I have never really understood what the heck was up with Mike's... um... interesting manner of presenting himself on the forums. Since I don't know the man, I formed no judgments and came to no conclusions - other than it sure seemed odd.

Anyway, that knife is awesome and I am grateful to Mike for sharing it with us. I look forward to seeing it completed.

I am not sure but I think that the rabies may have contributed somewhat to my condition.

I hope you never have to experience rabies,
