At the feeding frenzies the Boss was handing out the knife to each Hog that got his hoof in the pile. This changed when a person walked off with 5 knives. Story is he thought this was a big knife giveaway! He was tracked down and the knives were recovered but the feeding process had to be altered. Now just the cardboard sleeve is handed out and your name and knife model written on it. For the 2007 SE model the cardboard sleeve is tossed into the boiling mob of flying Hog hooves. This was not a pretty site but a happy Hog emerged from the pile. The 2007 Leaner Meaner Street was released and after an early close miss I grabbed the sleeve as it bounced across the display of SRKW Mini Mojos with only a small nick to my grabbing hoof. A war wound was well worth it for this INFI treasure. Everyone at the whole show wants to know what is happening at the Busse booth. It has made for a Blade I will always remember.
 
What a cool story. I feel sorry for the guy who walked off with what he thought were 5 free blades. Can you imagine. A tad awkward. ;)

I think next year I'll bring a fish net or something to scoop up the cardbard. :)
 
He really thought he was getting 5 Busses for free??? Really! Geez, that's being a little naive.

Good score on the LMS bro...how much? If you don't mind me asking. It's one I'm thinking of trying for at the BB. :D
 
I was wondering about that this morning as I was standing there and the first blades came out........ Jerry was just handing them out to the crowd like candy :eek:

The trough was about 5 or 6 people deep I think when I was there.

my favorite was when about 25 hogs said "ill take it" & he acted as if he was gonna toss it over his head like a bride does the bouquet.
 
Well, that guy's got natural Pork-fu then if he snagged 5 first time stepping up to the trough. I'm impressed.
 
Congrats, mhawg! That's the one I was hoping for yesterday.

I bet it was rough for anybody at the bottom of the piles when Jerry tossed those sleeves! :eek: :D
