Just recently I picked up a delica 4 in orange and I love it. Out of the box it was super sharp and ready to shave some arm hair. Cant wait to get another spyderco. hopefully it'll be the same quality. Hopefully I will land a paramilitary someday But after surfing the forums for a while it seems they are hard to find. This is my first post here but if any of you are into watches I am on WUS as watchdork,

You have just been bitten by the spyderco bug. The Delica is your first, but I bet not your last. I currently have 7 different Spydercos, and 1 in the mail right now.

Those spidie bites are costly! I only have 2 so far, a Manix2 and a Pacific salt (just received this week).

Bitten is right. Getting ready to get two more from another member here. I am fairly new to knives as far as really being nuts for then though I have always carried something. But as of right now everything I touch is compared to that delica.

It's hard to beat the light thin profile of the Delica. My recently purchased Stretch seems to be getting the most pocket time lately. A pocket clip from STR makes these knives just a little bit better even, and that is the only thing that I change on my Spydercos.

Hey, welcome to the forums! I'm Shagrath on WUS, cool to see another watch guy here. You'll love the Delica 4, it's a fantastic knife! Also, don't get your hopes down about the Para 2. It took me months to get one, but I got the exact one I wanted and it was so worth the wait. Just keep your eyes open and you'll get one at a decent price. There was a post a few weeks back talking about how Spyderco is trying to pump out as many Para 2s as they can to keep up with the market demand. Hopefully we will see an influx of them soon, I may have to pick up another one. It will probably be the first knife I buy a second copy of. I like it that much!

Welcome! I just got my second Delica. The first is a ZDP-189, second is a VG 10, both are excellent EDC knives. I have a few more, but hoping to fill in on a couple more models as they become available.

I have (and have had) several different model Spydercos, and of those my Delica4 FFG is still the one that gets the most EDC use.

When I bought my Delica it was between that and an Endura but the Delica seemed like a better size for EDC. I may still get an endure some day just in a different color. I like variety. I also like the Victorinox cadet alox and wish I had found out about it long ago so I could have snatched up all of the different colors. Thanks for the info on the para 2. I hope to find one to slide into my rotation. We will see how long it takes.
