Sal,

The Delica was my first non-SAK carry knife and still my favorite but I'm limited to 3" most of the time. I bought several of the molded clip model Delica's when they were replaced but have either lost or given away most of them. The newer Delica's are just a little too long. So....is the blade length on the new Delica over 3"? Just wondering...........

The Delicas made since the Delica '98 have blades that are about 3 1/8" long. But the SS-handled Delica II is still 2 7/8" like the old Delicas.

Jim,

You mean there is a difference between the current Delica FRN model and the Delica II's? That's quite surprising. I thought that they were alike except for a s/s handle and AUS-6 blade steel on the Delica II.

Jeff:
Yes, the Delica II's are shaped exactly like the old-style Delica but with SS handles. Even the blade is a little bit shorter on the II, as it was on the older (integral Zytel clipped) Delicas. You actually have to compare them side-by-side to see the difference clearly, though.
