This is a larger version of my old model 4. It's the Model 4 "Cock Diesel" Karambit or CD or XL. As it has been refered to. This is the first one made and I have made a few at a time. Leaves my arms today for the owner who has waited EXTREMELY patiently for it. Will be making more in different configurations over the summer. Thanks and let me know what ya think. Peace.....Rich

Blade 6"
Material ATS 34 3/16" thick
Handle Plasti Dipped and then chord wrapped.
Chisel ground "triple edge" & jeweled half way up the tang thru the blade somewhat.

I'm not usually a fan of Kerambits, but I have to say the artistry and craftsmanship of this piece and especially the blade shape really appeal me. Amazing work, that's one really sweet looking piece. Also, I realize this is the maker's forum, so forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question, but what do you mean when you say it was "jeweled" half-way up the tang? Is this a form of heat treat?

Thanks! I appreciate the compliment. Yes, jeweling is the "engine turned" look on the finger ring and partially on the blade. Thanks again for the kind words. Take care....Rich

Here's another flat ground one that just went to TAD. Their pics are always better than mine. Thanks guys....R

6" ATS 34 with Black G 10. Two serrations on bottom and one up top as usual.

HOT DAMN!!! Your work has an almost violent way of grabbing the eye, not to mention whatever is unlucky enough to be in front of the edge... :D

Why thank you for the kind words! I like your phrasing!...lol
