CitySteel, in my VERY-VERY humble opinion the "modified coffin" shape of this handle would be more appropriate on much larger knives with longer blades. For a shorter blade something more curved or a slim, oval or round cross-sectioned straight handle with some kind of metal pommel would be much nicer and definitely more comfortable, especially if intented for use.
If this knife is to be a display item a pommel and/or few colored micarta and/or metal segments or inlays, pin patterns on the handle could make it much more attractive.
I have the feeling that with this blade width 3-4 more inches of blade length would make the knife to appear slimmer. The shorter the blade the more agressively looks this type of bevel. Personally I would also prefer some more patterned light colored or a plain darker wood for the handle. Just my impressions, please feel free to disagree with them. One thing is good about our world that there is a variety.
Good work, please continue.
Best wishes,
littleknife

Just have seen your album with your other knives. Very nice. I liked them, all of them, except the one this topic is about.
